DFWA joins with DFW to take campaign against drug abuse and the war against illicit use of harmful substances to Brixton London.
The campaign took place on the streets of Brixton London on the 18th of April 2022 as team members came out in their numbers to see to the success of the outreach.
Speaking to members of the press, the team stated that the campaign was prompted by the high rate of drug addiction on the streets of Brixton.
“Brixton recording high on street drugs attracted the action of Drug Free World and Drug Free World Africa with teams to engage on station street campaign against drug abuse” led by Tracey Corman, the Anti- Drug Lead Trainer DFW.
About 1,400 Booklets on “the truth about drugs” were shared with the audience who were all in the street of Brixton, while 90 shops were visited with the gospel of drug-free world.
Individuals who were in their homes were not left out of the campaign as 70 houses were reached and 30 chats with participants on how street drugs affect the mind and body.
The team was happy and fulfilled as their gospel was taken seriously by the street and homes visited in the vicinity.
