Drug Free World Africa Award to Distinguished Leaders in London Victoria, London.

Drug Free World Africa is an intercontinental Africa organization, a non-governmental and non-profit anti-drug abuse campaign organization with a rehabilitation concept and youth engagement projects.

 

 

On 25th Sept. 2021 @ London Victoria, the organization deem it necessary to award some distinguished organizations and persons of valuable contributions to DFWA and to the society at large.

The president Engr. Chinagorum Nkaru disclosed to National Trend news that Drug Free World Africa been an organization with a global reach have awarded some distinguished persons who have shown unreserved commitment towards their services to the organization and also to some NGO’s who have printed their legacies in youth employment and development in our communities.

The president in their leadership outing event featured with DFWA first Director Rev Peter Unadike and their Global Trustee Timi McQuade stated further that this is the first award by the organization which focused on showing appreciation and gratitude for each leader’s good work and immeasurable contributions towards humble building of the organization and to encourage others to put in their best, reassuring them that every good work merit appreciation.

The award showcased and boosted image of DFWA in its community as the awardees and their friends and families commended DFWA towards their great leadership in appreciating their little input empowering them to do more. The leaders said that it was their great honour to appreciate them and also stands as a challenge to them to give their best shot and ensure the vision of DFWA a Drug-Free community is achieved.

DFWA keeping focus with their vision to engage youths in different projects and keep them away from drug abuse, recognized DFWA Kaduna State Chapter Representative Rev. Lazarus Terna, who executed best community project by supporting 20 youths to stop taken drugs out of 30 youths that showed remorse in drug abuse and joined their city walk against drug abuse. The second runner up was Etta Hannah Edim, PH.D the DFWA Cross River State Representative the first March Against Drug Abuse project executor and others. Mr Emmanuel Ngoka DFWA USA Representative and Fundraising Director was recognised for his accelerated input. Few NGO’s were also recognized that have gone extra miles to empower the youths in their communities Chief Ovo Edewor for Ogheneovo Edewor Foundation, Mr Michael Lawerence Ayang for Michael Ayang Foundation INC, Dr Christiana Adams for Sunshine Training and Care Services support DFWA Training Hub and Dr Betta EDu the Commissioner for Health cross Rivers State.

The DFWA First Trustee Hon Dr Lina Okereke Former SA Health Imo State   was awarded for pioneering Imo State drug youth education project, Rev Peter Unadike the First Director an exemplary leader, Ms Timi McQuade a global Trustee, Ms Okwuchi Nnochiri First Country Representative, Ms Grace Dicarlo Head Directorate Monitoring and Service delivery for making a difference.
