The National women leader of APC Dr Betta Edu has charged Nigerian youths to shun Drug Abuse and Violence as she endorsed the DFWA mega million march against in Abuja.
In a meeting held on 7th July 2022 at the National Secretariat of All-Progressive Congress FCT, Abuja, Mrs. Edu endorsed DFWA Mega Million March against Drug Abuse and congratulated the organization for their doggedness and readiness to subdue drugs and trafficking of illicit substances in Nigeria and Africa at large.
“I call on well-meaningful Nigerians, government agencies and other corporate bodies to key into this vision and to make good use of the platform of the Mega-Million March against Drug Abuse to sensitize youths to abstain from drug abuse and live a productive life”, she said.
She further encouraged the DFWA team to keep up with the good work and to encourage youths to shun drugs, shun violence and build a better Nigeria.
DFWA representatives expressed delight and disclosed the urgent need for massive investment in healthcare service delivery through community intervention to address drug abuse and encourage youth participation advocacy.
