DFWA Introduces “Truth About Drugs” at Igbo Festival Drug Free World Africa has showcased “Truth About Drugs “on Igbo Festival of Arts and Culture (IFAC) Day, 16th July 20-22 at Jubilee Park Enfield, London. Engr. Chinagorum Nkaru, the president of DFWA who hosted the program said that “Truth About Drugs” holds no barrier and should be shared anywhere, anytime and anyplace to serve as a multi-viral channel to reach communities across the globe.   She further stated that the mission of spreading “Truth About Drugs” is to raise a generation who will remain free from the ravages of drug abuse.Addressing drug abuse challenges in communities and cultural settings, Members of DFWA shared 1,500 “truth About Drugs” booklets in the Igbo Festival of Arts and Culture (IFAC) event London, with over 10,500 participants, 93 ethnic groups of Igboland and 35 vendors. The Team Energy attracted like minds as youths engaged and share their experiences in a fight against drug abuse. Diverse groups interacted on “Truth About Drugs” and Wider audience captured. “Truth About Drug” Tell Stotries at Ogene Ndigbo Newspaper Day   Truth About Drug: DFWA showcased truth about drugs at  Ogene Ndigbo Newspaper Day  Drug Free World Africa has shared “Truth About Drugs” booklets at Ogene Ndigbo Newspaper Day which was held on 23rd July 2022 at South East London. A visible impact of the no to drug abuse was commended by the Prime founder of Igbo Festival of Arts and Culture Mr. Obi Okoli who expressed his gratitude to DFWA on their proactive act to educate youths in different events. According to him, DFWA is always spotted in most events passionately educating on Truth About Drugs which is keeping youths informed of the dangers of drug abuse and encouraging them to live a drug free life. Responding to Mr. Obi, the President of DFWA thanked him and said it gives DFWA joy to know that people appreciate what they do and that the organization will not stop until the last child standing stops drug abuse. Mrs. Timi McQuade, one of the frontline directors of DFWA joined words with the president to say that DFWA will keep spreading the No to Drug Abuse message until youths will find their Highs in their Passion but not drugs. During the event, an outstanding personality Actress Ms Abigail Nwachukwu and a young Ghana artist endorsed the good cause of the organization by wrapping truth about drugs in a promotional music identified with DFWA showing readiness to propagate the “Truth About Drugs” message.

Brixton London Received “Truth About Drugs”

Brixton joins the campaign against drug abuse   DFWA joins with DFW to take campaign against drug abuse and the war against illicit use of harmful substances to Brixton London. The campaign took place on the streets of Brixton London on the 18th of April 2022 as team members came out in their numbers to see to the success of the outreach. Speaking to members of the press, the team stated that the campaign was prompted by the high rate of drug addiction on the streets of Brixton. “Brixton recording high on street drugs attracted the action of Drug Free World and Drug Free World Africa with teams to engage on station street campaign against drug abuse” led by Tracey Corman, the Anti- Drug  Lead Trainer DFW. About 1,400 Booklets on “the truth about drugs” were shared with the audience who were all in the street of Brixton, while 90 shops were visited with the gospel of drug-free world. Individuals who were in their homes were not left out of the campaign as 70 houses were reached and 30 chats with participants on how street drugs affect the mind and body. The team was happy and fulfilled as their gospel was taken seriously by the street and homes visited in the vicinity. Post navigation

Drug free World Africa As A Global Inter-Africa Drug Campaign Organization

Drug Free World Africa Featured at CWFI Outreach Drug Free World Africa on project of collaborating with different organisation to propagate the message of “Truth About Drugs”. Drug free World Africa as an Inter-Africa drug campaign organization, that have liberated thousands of drug addict across the globe to turn a new live interacts with CWFI on 12th March 2022 at 2000 Community Action Centre, Grove Street, Deptford, London during their first seminar of the year after Covid -19 series. The organization rub minds on a campaign with CWFI in bid to further spread NO TO DRUG ABUSE campaign across the globe. The gathering was a gathering of women of integrity focusing on rebuilding community reputation through reflection, focusing on Christ for the Grace to Value what Christ Value John 5:14-15. The seminar strengthened propagation of diversity ad values in the community and education on the dangers of drug abuse in the community. Engr Chinagorun Nkaru the president of the DFWA charged women to be emotionally responsible towards educating children on the need for No to drug abuse anywhere anytime. The event which took place in London attracted many women of virtue who are passionate towards a friendly community. Dr Christy Adams who is one of the leading figure in CWFI emphasize on the need for members to key into the no to drug abuse campaig. Engr Chinagorun Nkaru and Timi Mcquade concluded by expressing their joy for the synergy with Christian Women Fellowship International.

DFWA Support Victims Affected by Ukraine War

DFWA in Budapest Hungary to support victims affected by Ukraine War While DFWA is known for fighting drug abuse in society, the organization has taken a further step to help resettle victims of the war in Ukraine. According to the president of the organization Engr. Chinagorum Nkaru, the effort to resettle victims of the war in Ukraine will help motivate the beneficiaries to live the life they have always wanted. DFWA focused on two siblings who were keeping safe in the Hungarian capital Budapest while waiting for a British Visa. The two youths according to Engr. Nkaru has supported many of their friends to settle in different countries but had difficulties in getting a British visa. “DFWA remembers and works with youths anywhere they are to cheer them up and give them hope to keep positive and never take drugs as an alternative to their problems” Engr, C. Nkaru stated that the siblings were taken to gig parties to help them have fun and think positive for a better future as DFWA was up to help them. “They were taken to gig parties, City sightseeing, shopping, and boat cruise, which they enjoyed and cherished every single moment. They promised never to think of drugs as an alternative” “They had a moment to think and live without problems. It was an unended joy of expression, as every little help to keep soul and body together helps save a life. DFWA has vowed to continually support them to pursue their visa through different embassies till they get resettled.

Betta C. Edu Bags Drug Free World Africa Youth Empowerment Champion Award in London Victoria

Drug Free world Africa as an organization with global reach and has empowered 1000s of people living with drug addiction to turn a new live. On the 25th sept. 2021 @ London Victoria, the heart of London, the organization deem it necessary to award some distinguished organizations and persons of valuable contributions to Youth empowerment, engagement and anti-drug campaigns in their country. Dr. Betta C. Edu Commissioner for Health Cross River State merited the award for her numerous contributions to health reform in Nigeria and her Passion for youth engagement and development through skills and jobs creation. Dr. Betta Edu is a Public Health Professional, Peer Health Educator, Political Appointee, a Leader in public Health Gender – related Matters. An outstanding Public health specialist and a highly influential leader in on Gender – related matters, who has effectively balanced the weight of health and politics on her shoulders Dr. Betta Edu is a philanthropist and an active volunteer in several international and local humanitarian activities aimed at improving the overall health and welfare of the youth and people in grassroots. She single-handedly awarded free scholarships to over 700 pupils in Adadama ward of Abi local government area in Cross River State, conducted free medical outreaches to internally displaced persons/ rural dwellers in over 50 remote communities, empowered many youths to turn a new live. Her philanthropic contributions have catered to the welfare of 500 needy families in Cross River state. Drug Free World Africa Award to Distinguished Leaders in London Victoria, London.

Drug Free World Africa is an intercontinental Africa organization, a non-governmental and non-profit anti-drug abuse campaign organization with a rehabilitation concept and youth engagement projects.     On 25th Sept. 2021 @ London Victoria, the organization deem it necessary to award some distinguished organizations and persons of valuable contributions to DFWA and to the society at large. The president Engr. Chinagorum Nkaru disclosed to National Trend news that Drug Free World Africa been an organization with a global reach have awarded some distinguished persons who have shown unreserved commitment towards their services to the organization and also to some NGO’s who have printed their legacies in youth employment and development in our communities. Chinagorum Nkaru President DFWA The president in their leadership outing event featured with DFWA first Director Rev Peter Unadike and their Global Trustee Timi McQuade stated further that this is the first award by the organization which focused on showing appreciation and gratitude for each leader’s good work and immeasurable contributions towards humble building of the organization and to encourage others to put in their best, reassuring them that every good work merit appreciation. Lazarus Terna, who executed best community project by supporting 20 youths to stop taken drugs out of 30 youths that showed remorse in drug abuse and joined their city walk against drug abuse. The second runner up was Etta Hannah Edim, PH.D the DFWA Cross River State Representative the first March Against Drug Abuse project executor and others. Drug Free World Africa Takes Drug Campaign to the Heart of London, London Victoria Drug free world Africa is an intercontinental organization, a non governmental and non profit anti-drug campaign organization with a rehabilitation concept and youths engagement projects. The team distributed Drug campaign booklets, signposted two persons to the parents body who have been struggling to come off Drugs. Drug Free World Africa Campaigned in London Victoria about drug in a bid to help people living with addiction turn a new live. The team which comprises of China Nkaru , Peter Unadike and Timi McQuade played host of the drug campaign in London Victoria. Their effort was recognize by the Councl of Westminster Her Majesty, DFWA presence and work in the heart of London Victoria merited the recognition of Her Majesty, a Lady representative came out to congratulate the Team. Driving through, the work of DFWA London is to strengthen the focus point of campaign “Africa” where the drug menace is crippling the youths. In many states of Africa especially Nigeria DFWA campaign is gaining momentum. On 28th August 2021 DFWA Kaduna Chapter went on Drug War Rally and 20 youths came out to declare no more drugs and are ready to go clean from drugs. DFWA will do more to support them to live quality life. Cross Rivers State woke up to anti-drug campaign by the DFWA Cross River State Drug Rally on 15th May 2021. DFWA CRS went on the streets, walking out drugs in CRS Communities, penetrated drug den, educating them on Truth About Drugs and catching them young before drugs do.
